Group Home Supervisor (LPN)

FT/PT Status:Regular Full Time

Job Responsibilities:
Will provide management of developmental disability residential programs in Pierce County. Develops and implements program initiatives consistent with Unison’s strategic plan and regulatory/contractual healthcare environment. Oversees daily operations, developing budgets, hiring and training staff, scheduling employees, and implementing care for residents.

Position Responsibilities:
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm but may vary according to needs of the clients


1. Ensuring developmental disability services are in full compliance with applicable accreditation/statutory/contract requirements.

2. Participating in achieving financial results as budgeted and approved by the Senior Management Team

 3. Maintain formal management/supervisory structure for programs

 4. Promotes a program wide “Culture of Measurement”.

 5. Participates in DD Management Team, provides disability services subject-matter expertise.

Physical Demands
Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Must have ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer.  Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Employee must be able to travel between Unison sites.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a valid Georgia LPN license with no limitations and 2 years supervisory experience.  Must have knowledge of computer processes.  Experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs preferred.
