Client Support Aide PRN

Job Responsibilities:

Assists with daily living activities in a Residential Substance Abuse program.  Monitors self-administration of medications, provides training of basic personal and social skills, and work ready skills. Observe residents and document their progress in Carelogic and light house cleaning. 


Position Responsibilities:

This is a 24 hour facility so hours will vary according to the needs of the clinic; some weekends on an as needed basis.


Competencies:

Ability to observe and monitor consumers’ behavior

Ability to provide training and/or orientation services to participants

Ability to participate in supportive guidance

Ability to work flexible hours

Proficient with computers

 
 
Physical Demands
 
Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Must have ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer.  Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Employee must be able to travel between Unison sites.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma (or GED) and valid driver’s license.   Applicant must be at least 21 years old and have three years driving experience to provide transportation. 6 months social services experience required.  CNA and related Experience preferred.
