Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for working with children & adolescents with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses in schools, community settings, and home environments. Staff will also be responsible for working with youth, families and collaborating with school staff for early intervention and promoting positive behaviors in a variety of settings. Staff will provide the following services: behavioral health assessments, crisis assessments, individual, group and/or family therapy.

Position Responsibilities:
 Will work 40 hours weekly 


1. Knowledge of diagnostic impressions or criteria

2. Knowledge of how client advocacy system operates

3. Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques

4. Knowledge of individual and group therapy techniques

5. Knowledge of various therapeutic models and intervention as directly related to area    

       of assignment.

6. Clinical skills (Advanced)

Physical Demands
General office environment.  Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Must have ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer.  Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Employee must be able to travel between Unison sites.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree and pursuing licensure, and one year experience in a social services related position. (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) Full licensure preferred.
