Job Responsibilities:

Counseling with emphasis on prevention and/or behavior modification.  Develops and implements behavior management and/or skills acquisition plans.  Works with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health.  Helps individuals deal with addictions and substance abuse, suicide, stress management, problems with self-esteem and issues associated with mental and emotional health.

Position Responsibilities:

Will work Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend on-call rotation 


1. Knowledge of diagnostic impressions or criteria

2. Knowledge of how client advocacy system operates

3. Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques

4. Knowledge of individual and group therapy techniques

5. Knowledge of various therapeutic models and intervention as directly related to area of assignment.

6. Clinical skills (Advanced)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Pursuing Masters degree in behavioral sciences and within 6 months of graduating and have completed at least 1 internship and pursuing an associate’s license to provide counseling services in Georgia (LMFT, LPC, LCSW). Full licensure preferred.
